Government of the Punjab has announced over 300 positions in Police Department, The candidates fulfilling eligibility criteria are invited to submit their application alongwith required documents before last date. Appointments will be made through Pakistan Testing System. Therefore, the interesting candidates need to submit their application directly to the head office of Punjab Public Service Commission Last date for submission of application form is fixed as 5 June 2017.

Police Department, especially been formulated to secure the capital city of Lahore. It works under the supervision of Ministry of Interior. The objectives of Punjab Police Department are to secure, safe and provide ecology to its residence.  Police Department often needs hardworking and career oriented people to run this department successfully and effectively. At the present, vacancies of Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI), Junior Clerk, Stenographers and Drivers are urgently required for the department. Over 500 vacancies have been announced across the country. It is apt to mention here that vacancies advertised in newspapers are permanent basis. Therefore, you are suggested to apply well before time.

The interior minister, Federal Govt. of the Pakistan has directed to the high-ups of Punjab Police to make appointment on merit. Therefore, Department decided to make appointments purely on merit through Pakistan Testing System. Written and physical test will be conducted before selection and the selected candidate will have to appear in medical fitness test before offer of appointments. The candidates working already in government departments are needs to submit their applications through proper channel.

Documents Required:

You are intimated that application form can be downloaded from the official website of police department and forms are also available on PPSC. Furthermore, you are required to submit following documents alongwith specified application form:-

  1. Certified copy of metric.
  2. Certified copy of FA/FSC
  3. Certified copy of graduation
  4. Certified copy of NIC.
  5. Certified copy of domicile.
  6. Copy of experience letters.
  7. Copy of diploma / course (if any)

How to apply:-

You are required to download application from first from official website of Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) and get attested all the documents as mentioned above. Application should be submitted to head office of Pakistan Testing System before 05th , June 2017. No application will be entertained received after due date. Incomplete application will be rejected forthwith. No travelling / daily allowance will be admissible. Last date for submission of application form is April 27, 2017.
