Once rescued from the streets by a real-life hero, a little puppy was overcome with thanks.
The young canine saw two policemen while it was lost and alone in the busy streets of Los Angeles. He plucked up the courage to go up to them, not knowing where else to go.

Mercado was the one person on whom Hobart’s affection stayed focused throughout all the admiration. And happily for him, Mercado decided to offer him the permanent home he so richly deserved in return.
Officer David and the small dog travel the streets together, sharing information of the dog’s adoption need. Seeking the ideal match, they tour nearby shelters, distribute fliers in the neighbourhood, and publish their tale on social media.
Their efforts pay off when a loving family comes upon the dog’s photo online and falls in love right away. They contact Officer David and set up to personally meet the dog.
Little Hobart is now contentedly living with his own hero, having at last found the affection and security he had always craved. Hobart’s moving story of kindness and friendship touched many people’s hearts when the LAPD published it on Twitter.
Officer David understands he has only had a minor influence on the dog’s life as he sees it contentedly wag his tail and lick his new family. Even although their time together may have been fleeting, their relationship will endure a lifetime.
