Maggie was special, and Kasey wanted to have her with her throughout her life, so she adopted her and brought her home with her because she was motivated by her willpower to endure everything that happened to her. Because Maggie had such an amazing and motivating tale, Kasey quickly gained followers on her Instagram account.
After learning how many individuals Maggie touched and how many people delightedly follow and comment on her Instagram postings, Kasey made the decision to give up her full-time work as a dog sitter and focus just on Maggie and her Instagram account. It says volumes that over 500,000 people already follow her on Instagram.
Maggie is living her best life as an abandoned puppy with little chance of survival. She has become a true online phenomenon, her posts going global. Maggie now has a whole new life purpose: she wants to inspire many people in real life, spread love, and convey her wonderful energy. Maggie enrolled as a therapy dog as soon as she healed and started to gain popularity. She visited various places for therapy, including colleges, hospitals, nursing homes, etc.

Maggie is not the only dog Kasey owns; Mishka, her second dog, is her best buddy and they make a really adorable pair.

The dog the officer had seen on fliers and posters around town was instantly identifiable when he got to the site. His first thought was to call the family. Following months of looking for him, Max, the biggest and nicest surprise, was finally with the family when they arrived to check on the dog.
The pictures speak for themselves about how much the girls loved the puppy and the emotional and joyful outburst that followed on both ends. One of the girls was overtaken with emotion to the point of crying happy tears in the pictures the sheriff’s office posted on Facebook.
More than 2,000 people shared the photo and story, and hundreds more people commented on the incident itself as this heartwarming tale with a happy ending went viral on Facebook. A majority of the commenters applauded Deputy Perez for cracking the case and allowing the girls to see their cherished puppy once more.
